Clean Draft Studio wasn't built by a software company. It was built by a publishing company.
Lupos Entertainment produces fiction across multiple pen names and series — paranormal romance, cozy mystery, dark fantasy, and speculative fiction. Managing that volume of work means tracking hundreds of characters, timeline events, locations, and continuity details across books that share the same world.
We looked for tools that could handle that. We couldn't find them. Every AI writing tool wanted to generate content. What we needed was something that would help us improve manuscripts we'd already written — while keeping them recognizable as the author's work, catching continuity errors before readers did, and carrying the series bible forward from book to book without starting over.
So we built it. Clean Draft Studio began as an internal production tool and has been refined through active use across 20 published books, 8 series, and multiple pen names. Hundreds of chapters have been processed through the system. We're preparing it for public release because we're reasonably confident we're not the only ones who needed this.
No tool handled manuscript cleanup, continuity tracking, story bible management, and series organization in a single local-first workspace built for fiction authors.
